Turnham Green is proud of its long history and tradition of playing cricket in the best spirit. These guidelines set out our expectations of senior players when representing the Club.
Players should at all times:
• Play within the spirit as well as the Laws of the game.
• Respect the umpires and accept their decisions at all times.
• Play with a team ethic, putting the Club’s success ahead of personal achievements, and supporting the achievements of team-mates.
• Show sportsmanship by recognising and applauding good performances by opponents.
• Be punctual for games, and smartly and correctly dressed on the field of play.
• Pay match fees and subscriptions on time.
• Set a positive example to junior members at all times.
A Discipline and Appeals policy is printed in the Club Rules section of the TGCC Handbook which outlines the procedure adopted by the Club to hear complaints regarding the behaviour of members.
