Welcome to Turnham Green Cricket Club

Turnham Green CC is the oldest cricket club in Chiswick, having been founded in 1853. Today we play league, social and junior cricket, with two sides in the Middlesex Championship on Saturdays and a friendly side on Sundays, all based at the Fullers Ground on Dukes Meadows. We also have a thriving colts section at U11, U13 & U15 level.

For History Buffs there is section dedicated to our 153 years of cricket in Chiswick.

Obituary

We have been sad to learn of the death of Dilys Franklin. She was the sister of the Axworthy brothers, the main stalwarts of the club in the 1940's, 50's and 60's. E Axworthy was Hon Sec between 1944 to '59 with the exception of 1948-9 when his brother Ivor took over.. A. Axworthy was 2nd XI captain between 1953-5. and Hon Treasurer in 1967.

Dilys became the wife of Jim Franklin, one of the giants of Turnham Green CC. He was 1st XI captain 1956,1958-65 and 2nd XI captain 1967. Dilys made huge contributions to the club during the 50's and 60's and is fondly remembered. Our condolences are with her family.

SENIOR NETS

Outdoor nets have started - new and current members are welcome on Thursday evenings between 7 and 9pm at Fullers sports ground.
